Founded by John H. Daniels, the Daniels Corporation has built over 27,000 homes, mixed-use communities, and retail and commercial spaces. Currently led by Mitchell Cohen, Daniels provides all-inclusive services planning, designing, developing, building and managing residential and commercial properties.

Daniels takes advantage of under-utilized land and transforms it in demanded communities and commercial buildings. The principle behind the planning of their projects is the seamless integration into the surroundings and pre-existing urban fabric.

The company, which has been establishing new communities in Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton, was selected to partner with Toronto Community Housing to work on the revitalization of Toronto’s Regent Park of 69 acres. Thanks to its excellent customer service, Daniels has been named the 2016 and 2017 Ontario High Rise Builder of the year by Tarion Warranty Corporation.

While working on several projects, Daniel’s completed communities include The Bartholomew (situated in the core of Toronto’s most lively neighbourhood), OneCole at Dundas and Parliament, One Park West (a 13-storey condominium residence and 51 townhomes, PaintBox Condominiums, One Park Place North Tower (a 25-storey building with innovative design and great amenities located in the heart of Regent Park revitalization).

The firm has also contributed to the development of Toronto’s Entertainment District with the 42-storey Festival Tower characterized by its top-notch amenities and Cinema Tower with its 43-storeys rising above the centre of Entertainment district.

Daniels holds many awards, being some of them the Community Impact Award by the Business for the Arts Awards, The Toronto Arts and Business Award by the Toronto Arts Foundation, the Toronto Urban Design Award by the City of Toronto, the Best International Neighborhood Renewal Program by the International Journal of Neighbourhood Renewal, the Places to Grow Community of the Year High-Rise by the Building Industry and Land Development Association, among many more.
